but for the purposes of 'worst of the week', am I to assume the people in the running have to be in the news during the course of the week, and judge them on what they're doing now, now what they've done over longer periods?

(Edit: actually that's a bit hyperbolic - Cheney only gets #2/millennium. King Jong Un is actually the worst of the millennium to date.)

Will is just a clueless, loudmouthed boor.

Cheney does belong on the list as a permanent fixture until he is tried and imprisoned.

News directors who put him on camera are just as bad. "Expert," my flabby old ass. He's been wrong about everything he's ever said and done.
