I want to thank all the LGBT Du'ers who helped me with this research

(and if you know same-sex couples living in the US, who would be willing to participate in this survey please let me know)

here is a pic of me presenting the initial results.

Thank you to all who made it possible!

The research on racial and cultural inclusiveness would yield the same workplace results, Toronto Fred Sanders Jun 2014 #13
not really. race has uniform laws governing it, unlike the patchwork of civil rights legislation La Lioness Priyanka Jun 2014 #15

but it seems that organizational policies that create an lgbt inclusive environment (not just policies on benefits but other ways for lgbt people to more public identify in the workplace) are positively related to subjective well being outcomes and disclosure of identity in the workplace

also, state recognition of marriage is positively related to life satisfaction

i have not done the partner level analysis yet

just because they offer healthcare to partner of an employee who is in a same sex marriage, does not mean that is the only thing that would effect outcomes regarding inclusivity amongst all employees .....making it easier to publicly identifying their status.
