to illustrate the problem. I consider myself fairly well informed on this subject, but the difference between the US and Mexico shocked me.

that it is only the ignorance of working people that allow this to happen. Of course we have an entire corporate media working overtime to make sure that working people do not know about this. As depressing as it is, thank you for posting. There's another thread recently started in GD thanking DUers for starting informative posts. Yours is a great example of that. Thanks for fighting the good fight.

Those numbers appear to be taken from this 2005 study. Highly unlikely that they were exactly the same in 2013; they may be even worse now.

Is the goal of the "uniquely American solution" to keep the private health care companies in business and protect their profits? It is not just the Democrats that are using the phrase, Karen Ignagni of AHIP wrote an article in April.
