Omaha World Herald review below these 2 photos. The performance was awesome. Tarzan fell and injured his right arm. He was in pain and you could tell. The next time he came on stage he had an ace bandage on his arm. He did make it through the entire show. Top photo shows the costumed cast members coming out in the audience to start the show. That is our daughter and granddaughter. We had front row seats. Below the cast signs autographs. After the show we all went out to dinner to celebrate our daughters birthday.

Tarzan among Roses best musicals

Its been a while since I was so struck by the ensemble movement and staging for a musical that it felt like the key to making the show work. Such is the case with Tarzan, a stage musical based on the Disney movie that opened Friday at the Rose.
Guest director Kit McKay and choreographer Sue Gillespie Booton bring the jungle alive, having trained about 20 adults, teens and small fries to move and sound like the ape families they portray onstage for about two hours.
As you enter the auditorium, the ape chorus works the aisles, stage and auditorium main floor, interacting with delighted kids and calling out to each other in an entertaining and convincing (but never threatening) portrayal of a colony of apes.
That transitions smoothly into ensemble dance numbers that brim with energy and fun throughout this very physical show, particularly in a doo-wop shoo-be-doo number titled Trashin the Camp.
