Tea Party opposes Cruz-backed OK candidate who’s half black, half Native American

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/06/23/tea-party-opposes-cruz-backed-ok-candidate-whos-half-black-half-native-american/

In staunchly conservative Oklahoma, three major candidates are running in Tuesday’s Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat, two have a shot at winning and one is gathering attention because he is half black and half Native American.

T.W. Shannon, 36 and the youngest speaker of the House in Oklahoma, is a member of the Chickasaw Nation and represents a bit of diversity that has captured the attention of the national Republican Party looking to expand its base of white voters.

But polls show U.S. Rep. James Lankford, 46 and a former leader of a massive Christian youth camp, slightly ahead of Shannon in the race that has exposed rifts within the tea party branch of the Republican Party.

Tea party darling Ted Cruz, a Republican U.S. senator from Texas, has endorsed Shannon, calling him a “conservative fighter, while an Oklahoma tea party group has rejected Shannon, saying in an open letter he has “too many masters to serve,” including Native American tribes.

I am sure there must be at least one person of color who would follow either of those two idiots in Oklahoma.

It is hilarious seeing Shannon attempt to make Lankford out to be an ally of President Obama's. The only thing funnier is Lankford bragging about jerking off, I mean voting 40 plus times to repeal the ACA.

Watching the republicans attempt to out goose-step each other to the fucking right is not much fun any more. Tomorrow can not come fast enough as the ads are flying fast and furious.

I can't wait for tomorrow to be over. The incredible thing with the political ads being conducted by what can only be called as ultra right wing republicans is almost a complete lack of truth and relevancy. We need to take back our country from whom? We will balance the budget! Energy independence through increased acquisition of oil and gas! The growing burden of taxes! Disastrous foreign policy! These are their messages and they all agree on these either outright lies or irrelevant naive notions. All they do is attack each other as fraudulent conservatives. For a State whose infrastructure is a disaster, that has hundreds of thousands of men, women and children without any health coverage, and a mecca for the development of alternative energy sources, they are talking this nonsense. Well hang in there.

only whites should be served and that whites are only American.. If he would win he would also follow through on that premise also.

These people are fucked up they aren't going their to help the people of this country. How in the hell are we suppose to fight an enemies of other countries when they want to win to destroy the majority of this country?
