(110,900 posts)than there is at any other place. Their workers have to hustle just as much but you can tell they're motivated to do so by wanting to earn their paychecks instead of out of fear of being fired. It makes a huge difference.
I just wish I could buy more there but I have a small house with limited storage. You can't beat their frozen fish, though. My overflow freezer is stuffed with it.

(37,364 posts)I lobbied Costco to bring a store to our area of the state. There used to be only one in Des Moines, which was a considerable drive, and meant making an all day trip to shop there. I did this by e-mailing them at their company site periodically and my friends joined in. It took about a year and a half but I was so happy to hear the announcement that they would be building in a town nearby. That store is always busy.
If you don't have a Costco in your area, see if you can demonstrate to them that they would have customers if they located there.
