Georgia Republican Says First Amendment Does Not Apply To Muslims

A cherry picker of the Constitution in Georgia, a Republican, doesn’t seem to grasp a very important part of our Constitution. House candidate Jody Hice believes that the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious liberty does not apply to Muslims.

I don't think any sane or "moderate" Republicans even exist anymore - certainly none in office currently representing the Deep South.

Or that only Muslims can prevent the free exercise of other religious beliefs?

Or per chance, if he's saying that Muslims are inherently BAD people who need to choose a new religion, then which one does the 1st Amendment specify?

This individual would never be mistaken for a Constitutional scholar.
