PARANOIA.... ‘Texas Values’ leader says gay people planning ‘concentration camps’ over wedding cakes

The leader of an anti-LGBT group in Texas said in a recent interview that gay activists effectively wanted “concentration camps” for anyone who refused to sell them a wedding cake. In a June 20 radio interview with Raging Elephants Radio host Claver Kamau-Imani that was flagged by Media Matters on Tuesday, Texas Values President Jonathan Saenz is asked about a Colorado baker who was ordered to sell wedding cakes to same-sex couples.

“And so the homosexual couple, whether it’s man and man, woman and woman, whatever, they go to this specially created commission to deal with this, file a complaint against the business, and so the commission says ‘No, you’re gonna make this cake, plus, you’re going to go to concentration camp,’ essentially,” Kamau-Imani explained. “Is that what you’re telling us, Jonathan?”

“That’s right, that’s right,” Saenz replied. “You know, they tried to do something like that here in Texas — I think it was a bill by Sen. Rodney Ellis that dealt with hate crime stuff, where they would’ve forced you to participate in an event of the quote-unquote community that you had offended.”

“I mean, this is what they want. I mean, there’s no question. I’ve seen it,” he continued. “I’ve seen them try to do it with legislation here in Texas at the state level.”

“It is a goal of theirs to put people in jail that disagree with homosexual marriage, without question- – or the homosexual lifestyle.”

What REALLY surprises me is that he did not insist that Sharia Law would be used to force you into the concentration camps for dissing the gay.

Homophobia = money. Fear sells.

Reality never enters into the equation. For example, the overwhelming majority of LGBT people would likely want to spend their money with non-homophobic businesses and there is no shortage. But they pretend like homophobes have some kind of monopoly on wedding cakes.

There is a very nice man that I talk to on the way into work since he works nearby and I was blown away when I found out he was an anti-vaccine person whose wife makes their 11 year old daughter listen to Glenn Beck every day for "educational" purposes. Totally normal, intelligent-seeming person until you scratch the surface.

hardwired into some individuals, and, this could apply in some cases left or right. There have been a number of studies on the amygdala portion of the brain. One study, for example ... http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-human-beast/201104/conservatives-big-fear-brain-study-finds

Many of us analyze a situation from many directions before arriving at a conclusion, but some individuals appear predestined to analyze situations rooted in fear. I think with our advanced communications today and the polarization of the US driven by RW shock jocks the feasibility of this is becoming more apparent. Granted, there are a lot of environmental factors involved, but I am beginning to think an enlarged amygdala portion of the brain might well be a predominate root cause ...

we can trick gaaawd into unleashing hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and all manner of destruction upon the homophobic faithful, who deserve these punishments for not stopping us from getting married.

Resistance is futile, o homophobic ones.
