. . . I don't know how much the party would recognize the D behind the I.

I think he'd have to register or whatever as a Democrat to get the benefits of the organization.

I don't know how fair it would be to have one foot in and one foot out of the party.

This still sounds like he's leaning Independent; just can't bring himself to call himself a Democrat.

How much more influence would he have pulling the party left from outside the Democratic party, than from within? I don't know.

I'm not sure that the tea party and Cantor was such a good analogy.

"have one foot in and one foot out of the party."

The article mentions being in the debates this way, and of course he doesn't want to split the vote between indies and Dems.

Bernie can call himself anything he wants to, but he knows exactly how the game needs to get played.

So, he can tap into the Independents and the Democrats if he runs as an Independent Democrat.

“What people are dissatisfied with is not Hillary Clinton,” Sanders replied. “People are dissatisfied with the fact that 95 percent of all new incomes go to the top 1 percent. That’s what people are dissatisfied with. And people are dissatisfied that we have billionaires pay a lower tax rate than working families. And those are the issues.

Run Bernie run. You have my support

Can't wait until he announces.

Even if he doesn't win, he will have a huge impact on the conversation. We really need him in this race.
