(62,265 posts)Assuming a flat object against their gut. It's almost instinctual I think. I think the owl just wanted to GTFO and once it had a platform it used it. It probably didn't know the platform would release it, of course, but it allowed it attacking posture. Once outside the need to attack was removed.

Re-record? Are you saying they should lure another owl into their house just to film it from a different angle? Yeah sounds reasonable to me. Why not?
