(2,529 posts)That woman is toxic. But, I'd love to see her go nuclear and strain the craziest portion of the GOP out of it and into another party. We need a sane conservative opposition party. I honestly don't think it's going to happen for another generation or more, but maybe if the super loons are marginalized into their own political affiliation, a vacuum might be created for sane conservatives to flourish. Can it be too much to ask?
