Google just had a three hour technology and product event without a mention of Google Glass.

What it *was* was an attempt to start a dialogue about this type of product - throw something against the wall to see what sticks.

Wearables are here to stay - the form will depend on both the technology, usability, and how society ultimately accepts it. Technology will ultimately catch up.
