I got tonight's Final Jeopardy! (SPOILER ALERT!)

Hubby guessed North Korea. I guessed Saudi Arabia. I thought for a while he was right (I really didn't know and his answer seemed feasible).

But I WON!

It was a total guess but I kept thinking of the Saud name and how it seems to be attached to everybody in charge over there.

Husband had a point, I thought. Perhaps all those dictators in N. Korea were in the same family and brothers. It was a real toss up in my mind.

sorry, couldn't find the NYT to check the exact wording...

All I could think of was the House of Saud but I have to say the succession of all of the N. Korean leaders seemed to be plausible, too...

The House of Saud seems to go through all the men a generation at a time.

They all had weird guesses like Denmark and Sweden. I guess they thought it had to do with royal families, not a bad guess, but not brothers, if anything fathers, daughters and sons...but brothers was a real red flag...at first I thought Indonesia for some odd reason but then changed my guess...

Given the timed response, I woulda lost...it took me a bit of time to arrive at my answer...

My good friend called me from Barbados in the middle of Jeopardy - by the time I looked up it was over. I missed most of Double Jeopardy and final jeopardy. I love when I have the right answer for final Jeopardy. I'm pretty good.

it depends on the category...I'm old enough to know certain ones from the past I lived thru (but not always). I usually have to think about it longer than the time allowed.

A good day for me is getting Final Jeopardy correct, just guessing with the category. I get it right about three or four time a year.
