Police Officer Saves Puppy Thrown Out Of Window

http://5newsonline.com/2014/06/25/police-officer-saves-puppy-thrown-out-of-window/

A police officer from Greensboro, N.C., saved a puppy that was said to have been thrown from a sixth-story window, according to a report from affiliate station WGHP.

Multiple police officers gathered at some condominiums to clean the place up, and a puppy was found curled up in the bushes with a scrape across her stomach, WGHP reported.

People said they saw a man drop the dog from a sixth-story window, but no witnesses were willing to swear to what they saw, according to WGHP.

The officer decided to adopt the little three-pound boxer himself, naming her Reagan, WGHP reported.

Last week, officers were searching for a three-year-old boy reported missing by his parents, and while going door-to-door in the neighborhood, they knocked on Kendall’s door. When nobody answered, the officers walked to the backyard to check and see if they could find the boy.

As they entered the yard, the officers were approached by Kendall's dog Geist who, according to their claims, was acting aggressively. One officer apparently felt threatened and quickly pulled out his gun, opening fire on the dog.

As for the three-year-old boy that was missing, police later found him asleep in his own basement.
