at PP clinics. That's my suggestion. Act the same way. Say similar things. Carry signs. Confront the churchgoers.
Combine it with 2nd Amendment protests, if you wish. Strap your semi-auto rifle on your back. Stay on public property, but confront people as they come to church.
But, be warned: If you do this, you will be arrested. You will be taken to jail. That's the imbalance that exists.

(39,343 posts)I think we should arm vulnerable women who go to these clinics in need of help. I bet someone would think twice before waving a picture of a fetus if the young lady has an AR strapped to her back.

(146,286 posts)People should just do it. Give them a taste of what they've been feeding the poor women. They deserve it, and SCOTUS approves.
Just be careful only to do it at churches that support this anti-woman crap. Tell them that what they've been doing may be OK with SCOTUS, but not with the rest of us.

(45,319 posts)In December of 1989, ACT UP made history with a massive protest at St.Patrick's Cathedral. Five thousand people protested the Roman Catholic Archdiocese's public stand against AIDS education and condom distribution, and its opposition to a women's right to abortion.

(146,286 posts)With the SCOTUS ruling, though, perhaps it's time for more protests at more places. Churches that support those who protest choice at places like PP clinics should be the targets. They were the beneficiaries of the SCOTUS ruling. Let them see the effects of that ruling at their own doors.
Wherever there is a church that sponsors such anti-woman protests, let that church experience the same style of protest that they sponsor. It only needs a few people to carry out. They asked for the buffer zones to be removed, so let them see the impact of the SCOTUS ruling.
That's my suggestion.

(45,319 posts)their sweaters to reveal protest shirts and silently walked out. It was either Christmas Eve or nearly that, because I was outside the Church dressed as one of Three Wise Men and an Angel brining gifts to Mahoney, Birth control pills, condoms and an aspiration device used for abortion. It was a wild and fun evening during a hell of a time. I recommend such things!
