Two questions regarding the NLRB and the "recess appointments" ruling:

1)Do Obama's NLRB appointments stand, or are they nullified by the rulings?

2)If those appointments are nullified, do rulings made by the NLRB after the appointments were made stand, or are they vacated?

If these questions were answered in an existing thread, please post a link to it. Thanks.

I had heard a discussion on the issue on either KPFK or Thom Hartmann that the guest suggested there is every possibility that any ruling will be challenged and possibly nullified.
It's a setback for sure but if it's a precedent that will be accepted in the future that same procedural ploy could come back to bite them in the ass.
Unfortunately with this SC precedent is something they respect when they want to.

As I understand it their terms have either expired or in the case of Cordray, subsequently won Senate confirmation.

The NLRB rulings made while the board did not have a lawful quota will have to be reheard.
