He is the very embodiment of the tough, no nonsense, hard bitten Marine, and named for the toughest, bad-ass Marine ever! His training, Marine Corp discipline and respect for the CinC dictates that he strand there pretending to enjoy the President's attention!

Never call a Marine "cute"! harrumph!
