Our murder and violence rates are much higher than the other developed countries that are like us. (I'm leaving out the gun murder rate because everybody knows we have a by-far higher gun murder rate.)

Those other countries have the same violent video games and population of the mentally ill that we do, but we're more violent.

We have the highest percentage of religious believers and churchgoers in that same group, so let's save all that "We've lost Jeeezus and have turned to Satan" crap.

We have the highest incarceration rate, too.

Neither of those things seems to alter our collective behavior.

I say again... WTF is wrong with people in this country?
