Crowd Fund a Crowd-Sourced Contest to Create Spec Ads for Fruit and Vegetables ?

With the goal of connecting more people with food that is one notch healthier than what they are eating now I am thinking about creating a Kick Starter or Indiegogo campaign to fund a contest. A spec ad is an ad created for a client you don't have, in other words, pretend your client is trying to sell $1 billion worth of organic carrots yearly -- how do you make carrots fun, funny, sexy, craveable, etc?

The Contest: Create a funny or memorable ad 15 to 60 seconds long for your favorite vegetable(s) or fruit. Submit it to the YouTube Channel for the contest and then everyone votes for the winners.

Prizes for funniest, most informative and most effective.

We could use some of the crowd source funding or grants to go into grade schools or other groups with crew (camera, lights, sound) and help them create their entries. Shoot a bunch back to back. I think this could really get people thinking about how they pick what they eat and how much influence video-based media has on that. Leverage social media to let people connect with better ideas and practices.

Any ideas or reaction?

But campaigns include print/static ads, POS, direct, outdoor, etc., as well as video. No reason to limit this idea to video or any one media.
