Is wrong with the girl doll. What makes her a misfit?

Dolly is voiced by Corinne Conley and is a seemingly normal girl rag doll with red hair and a red gingham dress. Her misfit problem is never explained on the special, but was possibly revealed on NPR's Wait Wait… Don't Tell Me! news quiz show (broadcast December 8, 2007). The show revealed that Rudolph's producer, Arthur Rankin Jr., says Dolly's problem was psychological, caused by being abandoned by her mistress and suffering depression from feeling unloved.

It's just that given a choice between meeting me or meeting H20Man, 95% of Duers would rather meet H20Man. The other 5% want to meet Malaise.

And the way she always addresses us - "my dear so-n-so..." Always did like that! Same thing for The Magistrate, who always addressees the poster as "sir," or "ma'am." Just that little bit of niceness. An elegant little detail!

She actually seems pretty decent from what I've seen of her. It's the radfems and the most extreme of the "white privilege" pushers that the 95% would be repulsed by, if anything at all(their extremism alone is bad enough, but many of them engage in aggressive tactics, too, such as ad hominems, false accusations, etc. One particularly noxious fellow in the latter group even went so far as to accuse me of being opposed to Civil Rights! I can send you the link on that if you'd like, as I have it on file).

Of course, I won't name any names, but they know who they are by now.

(P.S. H20Man is indeed a very likable fellow, IMHO. )

as somebody who is pretty cool, by which I mean you have written some good stuff IIRC.

But I like dragonflies too. Amazing insects that used to zip around my back yard (don't see them now where I live) and they never bothered anybody.

They appear to like being around water, try looking for them near a pond in your area.

As to them never bothering anybody, I have never known them to be aggressive to people but I have been told they are capable predators regarding other insects, if that means less mosquitoes, I am grateful for their service.

This Dragonfly was flying back and forth about a foot above the grass, right off my back porch. It would go back and forth and then swoop UPWARD and snag whatever was flying above it - a Gnat or Skeeter or whatever. It was awesome to watch, like a fighter jet homing in on a target.

Dragonflys are cool.

I remember during a rule change I was a bit angry because it directly affected some graphic art work I was doing at the time. While others were ridiculing me for being angry, you bothered to take the time to discuss with me what was bothering me and you were very nice and understanding, offering good advice. It was a long time ago and you may not remember, but back then most of my contributions were graphic art rather than commentary.

I miss the pictures of your fur babies, I am reluctant to ask about them as all but one of mine have passed during that time and her time is getting close due to her advanced age.

I have always thought of you as one of the nicest members here and none of your posts from then 'til present day have done anything but confirm that.
