President Obama needs to start stacking the Supreme Court now,

I mean it! Or at the very least what is to prevent him from exercising the same tactic that President FDR did, and threaten to if all they are going to do is overturn decision after decision?

You can't just run roughshod over the will of the people like this!

I'm sick and tired of this crap! I think my rep has his damn phone off the hook this morning! Figures.

I'm not going to just give up like that. How about a protest? Can anything be arragned? Some giant foam vaginas inside and outside of hobby lobby might just do the trick. I've got two of them near me here in Missouri!

Where could I get material to hand out? I've never protested before, so this is new to me.

I would imagine, like FDR, the Senate would put a quick stop to that tactic.

I'd assume the same way FDR did. FDR just threatened, and they fell in line. The ones we need to retire aren't retiring anytime soon- it has to happen faster than that.

We control the Senate anyways.

When none of them are retiring?

We need to vote and get the Rs out of office so we can pass legislation to work around these idiotic rulings.

the constitution does not set a number or in theory prevent the practice but it won't work with the current make up. Too many conservative Democrats and even with those not so politically conservative there are a great many too process conservative. I bet the upper number who would go along is around twenty, super tops.

Too much fear of a giant hyper partisan court created by each party re balancing the deck and resistance to any dilution of power.

Prime probability outcome is a rebellion of the Democratic right wing combining with the corporate wing of the TeaPubliKlans to "restore order" and rein in "an out of control executive".

Also, the reality is Obama is beat down (or playing such on TV) and is appointing out right wingers for lower courts as is, giving great deference to Senators that is not required and has been ignored in the past and will be again when a TeaPubliKlan is pResident.

What other solutions are there? Roll over and die under the foot of corporations?

No, Reid doesn't nor does Leahy in these matters. In fact, he doesn't have his own back. No way I would submit some of these pieces of shit, the blue card shit could go straight to Hell were it me.

but the conservative Dems in the Senate would never go for that, FDR tried it with a solid Dem Senate and they slapped him down.
