If you think smart women are hot, then Justice Ginsberg is the sexiest woman alive.
Here's her dissent in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby.
Dissent
It's a good read.
Edit: A Tip of the Hat, BTW, to Sen. Barbara Mikulski, who as Bader notes in her dissent, was instrumental in getting coverage added to the ACA in the first place.

And the four of them provide any intellectual ability that this court wields.

(62,406 posts)I believe she will go down as one of the great justices.
And I believe when sanity is restored to the Court, many of her dissents will be used as the basis of majority opinions.

But thanks for the link. Makes it very clear, without my having to search through all the arguments... gg is a sheepdip.

(9,865 posts)So Obama can get another shot before the risk of a Republican take over in 2014 and 2016

(301 posts)Who do you think Obama will be able to get through Congress, some wimp, plus no throwing older competent people on the rubbish heap.
Despite her actual age, Ruth looks physically like she's good for another 15-20 years.

(9,865 posts)100 lbs, 80 years old, often in a wheel chair because of the battering she took fighting pancreatic cancer in 2009. In the 90's she had colon cancer. Her mother died of cancer. She should have resigned in 2008 when Obama had a better chance.
I think by not retiring in a timely way she's taken too big a risk with the welfare of the country.
You can't seriously think she has another 12 years in her, which is what we'll need if a Republican President gets 2 terms in 2016.

(301 posts)is if Hillary runs. There is no credible Republican candidate against any credible Democratic candidate.
zentrum
(9,865 posts)....a problem too and it could go Republican because Koch money thinks very locally and concentrates on regional wins while we are all distracted by the Presidency.
A Republican Senate will only confirm a real right of center judge and the nominee won't therefore be another Ginsberg. Unless of course we get a fighter for the President---like Warren.
Besides, since when did Republicans have to be credible to win in this country?
I think Ginsberg has risked the country by not retiring in '08.

In other words, pay to have a copy of what we pay in taxes to support from our government. It's how media is denying us access to government documents.
Another way to tell us it's none of our business. It's their property now. And that they can turn it off when they feel like it.

I keep hoping madness like this will turn elections, but there are women in Red States that just pull the R lever because they'd never vote for a Democrat. Shame.
We need turnout people! Easier to motivate the persuaded than to persuade the knuckle-draggers.
