OPERATION: Still dangerously stupid probably works as well as anything.

We never have any actual mission and/or achievable military objectives. Our objectives are political and we just hammer away with the wrong tool, foolishly wondering what the problem is.

Close as we come on this one is the wickedness of the ISIS rebels (which admits wanting to meddle in a civil war that our "help" sparked and the puppet government poured fuel on) and when asked what is different about who we'd be supporting the response is usually silence, on occasion some mumblings about pent up anger under Hussein (meaning they see the dynamic they hope to seed) and incoherent excuses.

They changed that to something else (Operation Iraqi Freedom, maybe?), because the joke was obvious even to the hoi polloi.

So a new Iraq War might be called Iraq War 3.0. Or the Ditto War. Or the Clone War. Or the Make Rich People Richer War (MaRPeR War).

So many names, so little support.
