I wouldn't think Barack and Michelle deliberately keep them from the real world but they probably tell them honestly not to pay much attention to what pundits and politicians have to say.

"after many hours of prayer, talking to my parents, and re-reading my words online I can see more clearly just how hurtful my words were."

oh, i see. she always knew *that* her words were hurtful, she just needed all that to appreciate *how* hurtful her words were.

yeah, that's the thing about republican nastiness. they're usually brilliant at walking that fine line. you know, wink-wink hate instead crossing the line into overt, public-backlash-generating hate.

this one stepped into it big time.

The President's children (any President's kids) are completely off limits and are never to be negatively commented on. Period. End of story.

Failure to understand this basic fundamental fact will always lead to dismissal or face saving resignation.

BTW - excellent example of deeply held Christian values there Liz.

is not a word I really don't care). saying that the Clinton's were bringing a cat to the White House, and they already had a dog (up pops a picture of 12-year-old Chelsea). Also I remember the Repubbie tool Linda Chavez saying on Crossfire during the '92 elections "Why are the Clinton's hiding Chelsea? Are they embarrassed?" These two patriotic Americans are still around and making more money doing their damage that I'll see in my lifetime.

BTW, add my voice to those saying I hope Liz keeps on praying and talking to mom and dad since she'll have plenty of time on her hands. Stupid and classless.

If you do you are finished and only have yourself to blame. The GOP "Media Overreacted" Crowd needs to just shut up. Lenten created the story with her own behavior. A story about someone stepping in it while criticizing the President's daughters can and should be reported.
