another day, another Diane Rehm show, another episode of false equivalence

I was only in the car for 15 minutes, but once again, no mention of how one side's only mission was to block everything. They mentioned that the majority of the public thinks big government is bad (WTF!), but no mention of the impact of media control and public brainwashing, of stacking the Sunday news show deck with right wingers, and perhaps a centrist, but rarely balance on the left.

The clueless-ness is truly breathtaking.

"...but...but..both sides do it! No one is cooperating! The public is fed up with both sides!"

That woman talks so slow I cannot stand to sit through her program. And yeah, she pushes an agenda rather shamelessly.

sometimes libertarian or centrist - rarely, if ever, the left. It is so transparent, and makes the show useless when they are talking politics. The second hour, on books, or the first hour when not firmly centered on politics, can be somewhat interesting...now and then.

I swear I remember Diane Rehm herself always being a lefty. Is my memory bad, or did she fall to the dark side?
