Group crashes Lauderdale's website in retaliation for homeless measures

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/broward/fort-lauderdale/fl-lauderdale-web-site-attacked-20141201-story.html

Anonymous, the well-known online hacker group, has released a video stating the group's intention to take down the City of Fort Lauderdale's website until the city eliminates restrictions on feeding the homeless.

The group Anonymous apparently made good on a threat to crash the city's website on Monday because of recent laws the city has passed regulating homeless behavior.

In a video posted on You Tube on Monday, the group said it would take the action if the city didn't repeal ordinances that have made it illegal to panhandle at busy intersections, to sleep on public property downtown and that greatly restricted the ability of charitable groups to feed the homeless outdoors.
