...that will prevent the release of the CIA report by the Senate?

(75,480 posts)11:00 ET. She didn't say if it would be in the Senate or a presser. If she survives the night, no strokes, heart attacks or learning sky diving from a high building without a parachute, then maybe the shit is going to hit the fan. I've never seen her so fixated on something as this.

(110,950 posts)She has always protected the intelligence agencies. She is probably trying to figure out a way to appease a few other Democrats, but will release the report with most of the pages blacked out?

(75,480 posts)the Repubs take over in January. Then it will never be released. I guess there is a lot of redaction to accomplish that, but we shall see. She seems somewhat sincere in this although, I know mostly she's with the corporatists and MIC.

(7,234 posts)They will release a report that will tell us nothing new, won't name names and won't hold anyone accountable but many people here will go batshit crazy and tout it as the latest and greatest discovery on earth.
It will be a whitewash but hey, the ACLU wants to pardon Cheney and Bush while whistle-blowers like John Kiriakou and Manning rot in prison and Snowden is on the run in Russia.
