LINCOLN — Police reported Monday that the body of a Lincoln woman who disappeared one day after seeking help for domestic violence has been found in a storage locker.

Lincoln Police Chief Jim Peschong said the woman’s husband, Kevin M. Miller of Lincoln, 33, has been arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder in connection with the death.

Kelsey Miller, 28, had not been seen since Nov. 26, the day before Thanksgiving, Peschong said. Her body was discovered Sunday.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in support of Kevin Miller’s arrest, Kelsey Miller was identified by her tattoos.

The affidavit said Voices of Hope, a Lincoln domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy agency, reported her missing Dec. 1.
According to the affidavit, the agency said Kelsey Miller had sought emergency shelter from them Nov. 26 because of ongoing abuse by her husband. At the time, she had bruises on her neck and was visibly upset.
