Meet the GOP candidate for POTUS "Kasich Gets Buttered Up For Prez"

"“Meet the GOP’s newest power player,” the ABC News banner instructed us, thus anointing Ohio Gov. John Kasich when he appeared on This Week with George Stephanopoulos Sunday morning.

Before the interview even began, Stephanopoulos made sure to plant a big and slobbery on Kasich’s posterior.

“Now with back-to-back wins and a booming Ohio economy, this party maverick with a reputation for plain talk is stirring up all kinds of White House buzz,” he gushed in his intro."

Jeb Bush will not run for POTUS, as Kasich will be the sub for a real Bush. Look out folks, this crook is about to be foisted on the unknowing as the great moderate Republican. He is not a moderate. Kasich is stealing everything that is not nailed down, plus pulling nails for lots of state property to give to his Koch, Bush, and other robber baron masters.

See this article at Plunderbund for more information about how Kasich is faking the numbers.

"Elected by a wide margin this fall in what turned out to be the lowest voter turnout election since the 1940s, Gov. Kasich said economic growth should lead to helping people living in the shadows, the drug addicted and the working poor move beyond their conditions to prosperity. Stephanopoulos could have asked Ohio’s high priest why he’s fallen short for 24 consecutive months to meet the average national job growth. Stephanopoulos could have pinned Kasich into a corner on his poor job performance to date, especially in light of the really great job numbers released by President Obama last week. But he didn’t."

Kasich slashed the income tax for the wealthiest in Ohio, but property taxes on farm property is going through the roof. The Democrats never raised this issue in the fall election campaign. I am not sure they even know what is going on with the Current Agricultural Use Valuation. It is a huge tax increase on rural property owners, that the wealthy just use as another tax break. In Ohio about 50% of the state income tax was given to the local governments. Kasich and the GOP took all that money for use by the state so they could finance the massive tax cuts for the wealthy. County, township, school districts, and municipalities have had to raise taxes locally and slash spending to make up the difference in revenue. The media here does not mention what is going on so most folks have not clue why their local taxes are going through the roof. Tens of thousands of jobs for school districts and local governments have been lost due to claw back of the state revenue from the local governments. It is a terrible situation that was never discussed during the election campaign. He has helped the wealthy at the expense of the poor and middle class, just the way the Koch's want it down. Ohio is the poster child for ALEC.

Kasich looks like a relatively sane Republican (key words: "looks like," "relatively&quot who hasn't been embarrassing himself in front of the national media for years (unlike most of the rest of the clown car). Plus he can credibly say he's a DC outsider and can run against Washington, which makes him formidable in the primaries and in the general (the flip side of Hillary's much-vaunted experience is that she's a creature of Washington, and she's going to get crucified for that). Kasich this time could deliver what the GOP wanted out of Mitch Daniels last time, if only he had played along. We'd be foolish to write him off.

And he'll be hard to beat, only because the media will love him up. Esp Fox.

Kasich, though, combines the charisma of Cream of Wheat with the integrity of reality TV.
