(918 posts)to $19,000 this year and $22,000 next year with higher co-pays and deductibles. We're not eligible for subsidies.
We're now in a medical cost sharing co-op that costs less than $700 per month with deductibles comparable to my original plan. It's technically not insurance, but it's fully ACA compliant.
Anybody that's now uninsured should look into it.

(70,187 posts)is ACA compliment--the best thing I think about aca law is that no one can get kicked out of a plan.
I live in a red state. Our gov did not to help aca implementation although he talked it up. Very few exchanges are available in large areas of the state. These areas are expensive also.

(14,449 posts)Thank goodness for DU. Doing the networks job again. Last I heard a month ago about 700K signed up. Who know what the number is today. News doesn't care I guess.
