(146,255 posts)I concentrate on the ones I helped to get elected. Both of the Senators from my state and my house member voted NO on the CROmnibus bill. I contacted all three before the votes. I have no belief that I made a big difference, but that's how I petition the government.

In all seriousness, I vote, I contribute to and work campaigns for those whom I support, I write letters to my congress folks, I attend town-hall meetings, and oh yeah, I vote.
