Saw this on Phil Plait's blog yesterday and thought it was worth sharing.

I love this. He hits on lots of critical topics, like how our immune system works, how vaccines prime that system to fight off diseases, why herd immunity is important, and why it's hard to keep up with evolving viruses.
Link to the full comic is here, and it's really good:

(22,336 posts)and who advised me not to, and when I was pregnant with my first I did a great deal of research about this, because what my friends said was scary. But every single anti-vax article I was sent seemed to be full of fallacies and questionable logic. I don't see how anyone falls for this. Especially the link to autism. There's some weird irony that a huge number of the children of my friends who don't vaccinate have autism. Kids who have never had a single vaccination. Yet they still say that vaccines are why autism rates have gone up. Their own circle and their own experience would seem to prove otherwise.
