Question for Warren supporters, maybe Sanders supporters too, mostly Warren.

Elizabeth Warren says she wont run, this time.

Surely having her as a VP candidate or actual VP would be a HORRIBLE waste of her talents, so basically if she does not run or does not win the nomination........

........

I can ASSURE you she will AGGRESSIVELY, PASSIONATELY, and believe it or not SINCERELY endorse whoever does win the nomination, for instance maybe Hillary Clinton...(By the way, ask yourself WHY she would do that, why would she endorse someone who is just as bad as a republican? unless they werent, of course)...

So...

Now for myself, I am voting for Bernie until his name isnt on the ballot, then of course I vote for the Democratic candidate.

How about you all?

3. No offense, but doesn't someone else already demand pledges or ask this on a daily basis?

And - pledges are absolutely meaningless, much like campaign blather.
Besides, I am assured, also on a daily basis, that Hillary is a lock, will vanquish all and sundry, and that Warren supporters are an insignificant fringe of "LEFT-LEANING LIBERTARIANS!!!!!" - I think I got that one right.
Why worry about it, is my take on it.

Oh, and there would be a lot of pressure to endorse Hillary, of course. In any event, I will decide what I want to do without following anyone else's lead. That includes Warren or people at DU.

someone who is so cozy with Wall Street?

Hell no, but the difference between myself and some folks is I have NO delusions that there is any truth to the statement that electing Hillary is the same as electing a republican.

Ask someone who might want voting rights or has been on the receiving end of discrimination and racism and bigotry their whole lives if they want the person appointing SC justices to be beholding to Jerry Falwell or the ACLU...

It is that simple.

years out. But - I promise I will leave if I cannot bring myself to vote.
I am hoping things get better, not slide into a Bush/Clinton travesty. Plus - I am not exactly sure I would like Hillary's picks for SCOTUS, either. And the TPP and other "trade" agreements that she champions make me sick.

I love Hillary but that does not mean she gets my vote in the primary. I'm also not as certain as you the Warren is not running. My vote will go to the person in the primary who is the most progressive on fiscal issues. My vote will be a statement to the party that I feel we are far too conservative on fiscal issues. I truly hope to get to vote for Warren. If not, I will move on to the next most fiscal progressive.

Any of those 3 will send a needed message. The best step to a better future is the first one.
