I'm Sorry But I Don't Understand The Reaction Of A Marco Rubio/What's The Other Side Of This Issue?.

Really - I don't understand the threat that Cuba is to the U.S. I do remember the Cuban Missile Crisis but that was 50 years ago. Why are some people still holding a grudge? I need someone to explain to me the other side of this argument.

It also plays into their almost religious obsession with keeping tradition just for tradition's sake.

They were already upset with him because he wrote a book that said his parents left to escape Castro, when in fact they emigrated years before, just to start a new life. Rubio is a spoiled jerk. That is my considered opinion.

So did some American businesses. That's about the long and short of it.

I grew up in Miami. This is not the place to ask this question because there are few here, if any, who are Cuban. And even those here are of a particular political slant so you don't get the full picture. Try talking to several of the Cubans in Miami who fled when Castro took over and to their descendants. They'll fill you in where you'll get it.

The Japanese and Chinese don't like each other for the most part regarding atrocities they each did to the other over the course of hundreds of years. Same with Indians and Pakistanis. There are many others examples around the world. People hold grudges for long periods of time. Generations even.

Old White Guys in the Rethug Party. If one really looks at the Political Landscape of today and in 2016,here is my look see. Number one, we will see the old 13 state strategy, most populace states, and they are trending to liberal or very liberal. Number two,the old white guy vote ain't going to cut it cause they are all lined up with the Rethugs or live in very backassward Red States, law of diminishing returns. Folks,Mr. Obama just handed we Dems the 2016 election,it's ours to lose at this point. Living in Nevada we old white people are the minorities, the only reason we lost so many local seats was our failure to get people to the polls. The Rethugs used the immigration as a wedge issue to block the largest voter block by simply using a false message and it worked.
