Obama's second-term trifecta.

First he institutes a policy for early release of nonviolent drug offenders.

Then he issues the executive order giving immigrants a much-needed break.

Now he normalizes relations with Cuba.

I am really happy about each of these three things.

he'll poke the proverbial stick in the RW eye before he leaves office and it leaves lasting PAIN for many who have caused him grief for no other reason than his skin color.

He would have to do it alone..... Sorry. All the banksters will get away this time.

They have half the Dems, and all the Republicans on their payroll.

Wonder what other good news is in there that we haven't heard about yet? All I heard about here was the gift to Citi Bank written by Citi Bank, which is enough to make you puke. But then I read about pot and my eyebrows went way up. I hope there's more where that came from.

This will wipe out that issue before the 2016 cycle gets fired up. By 2016, the number of Floridians enjoying the more open relationship will dwarf those who are still bent about the Battista overthrow. This action is 40 years overdue, and exactly the kind of thing a "lame duck" can do to make his last two years highly relevant.

And there are lots more sacred cows available to Obama. In fact, now that he has shown he will pull the trigger on immigration and Cuba, the GOP will have to take him seriously the next time he says "either pass a bill I can sign or else I'm going to do it through exec action".

And regarding 2016, this flattens Rubia. Cuba was the only issue he had. What is he going to do now? Try to sell himself as the guy who will turn back the clock 50 years? Good luck with that one Marco. And diffusing the once unified Cuban GOP support will help a lot in Florida. Probably not enough to win FL if Jeb is the candidate, but definitely improves the odds versus any other candidate.

All that's left to do is address the class war issues and punish the bankers. I just don't see that happening under Hillary. Still there can be on doubt that Obama is the greatest president we've had in the last 30 years at least.
