The real reason for these tragic murders is easy access to guns and spotty access to mental health care. This killer is a mentally disturbed man. Obama, DeBlasio, and Sharpton are no more responsible for the death of these officers than they responsible for the murder of the killer's girlfriend.

This is going to be their crackdown excuse - prepare for the RE- MILITARIZATION of the police in the name of "police safety" and possible National Guard intervention to restore "law and order".

Sigh. This is going to underscore black lives not mattering. Protests lead to nothing getting done. The cop deaths will lead to stuff getting done.

I am not excusing the senseless murders. But the protesters who are many races , the mayor and the POTUS are not the blame for the racial unrest. How do we know that these cops were shot because of their race? But when unarmed minorities are gunned downed by cops its not racial to them? Its an accident they say.

Police corruption is a matter of history in this country. Rudy was well liked by the NYPD because he was as corrupt as many of them are. It is sad that Rudy looks for every opportunity to blame anything on this President because he accomplished what Rudy could not...get elected.
