This atrocity in Rochester is on New York Firearms right now, and the anger at the city's actions is completely and totally negative, VERY negative.

I am an "old line" liberal and now a "conservative" by most peoples' definition - actually I'm an anarcho-libertarion-Rastafarian - I'm not kidding!! - that pretty much explains my political outlook. I'm a 'Nam veteran, and I'm sure there were vets in that village - not that that makes them special, but that's where I'm coming from.

Anyway - what is the most appropriate place to make donations? - NY Firearms has Mercy House's Amazon Wish List. All I see there is yarn.

Point me in the right direction, and I'll pass it on. This is everyone's fight; it's not "an issue", or "a problem", it's human beings who are on the edge - their reason for being there is irrelevant.

So, there it is - let's get together on this, even if it's only once and at arm's length. But, it has to be confronted!

Finally found the correct list and some goodies are on the way.

Anyone can end up scraping the bottom of life, in many cases they have absolutely no where else to go, and weren't in a position to control the slide.

I think it's about time that people who care about this country and its citizens stopped the in-fighting that the "elites", who have no interest but themselves and their power, have convinced us is "how the system should operate".

In the past four days since this story broke, public support of Sister Grace and her mission with House of Mercy have raised $18,714 in order to provide shelter to our area's homeless and individuals in need.

Yesterday, Sister Grace Miller announced that a local family who wishes to remain anonymous stepped up and wrote a check for the remaining $41,286 to fully fund their campaing ensuring that the purchase of a new facility to offer greater assistance needed to our community as the need has outpaced their ability to provide.
