He wanted to make sure nobody forgot for a second that he was the president. And it was also a BFD that he was a "cowboy" from Texas. So, naturally - presidential cowboy boots. I'm guessing he had the seal imprinted on his Underoos and his jammies and his bathrobe and his toothbrush and his cereal bowl and his sippy cup and probably tattooed on his ass.

Taken in 2005, one would expect that Jeb would be accompanied by his wife of over 30 years - Columba. Makes me wonder why she was omitted from this lilly white photo. Hmmmm...what could be the reason. Says a lot about family dynamics.

Reminds me of my daughter in law's joke when they were dating. She said she finally felt accepted when she wasn't always on the end of the family photographs - where she could be cropped out easily. Apparently that was a practice in her family when someone "left" for whatever reason - just cut 'em outta the pictures.

The real reason Bush is afraid of horses...

In his late twenties, George Bush decided to go horseback riding. Although he has had no previous experience he skillfully mounted the horse and appeared in complete command of the situation as the horse galloped along at a steady pace.

After a short time George became cocky and attempted some rodeo moves he had seen on TV. He quickly lost his grip on the saddle, panicked, and grabbed the horse around the neck shouting for it to stop. George had by this time slipped completely out of the saddle and is only saved from hitting the ground by the fact that he still had a firm grip on the horse's neck.

George decided that his best chance was to leap away from the horse, and as he leaped, his foot became entangled in one of the stirrups and his head started to bang on the ground as the horse galloped along.

George, now panicked and fearing for for his life, started screaming,"help!!!!"

Hearing his screams, the K-Mart manager casually walked out of the store and unplugged the horse.

to FL. What that means, translated, is that the rich Rethug wives in TX shunned her, mistook her for their maid, made jokes about mistaking her for their maid, giggled and snickered in their palms, etc., meaning the racism came from their own. Yet Poppy can refer to "the little Brown ones" as his grandkids, and the two Shrubs are about the only Rethugs who can get 40% of the relatively small Hispanic vote because they know the secret of rapport: A smile and a joke and a pat on the back (= "acceptance&quot , getting them to vote against their self-interest.

Probably Colomba Columba (am going to have to learn to spell it in 2017) WAS in the group picture, which makes the cropping even worse. On Edit: Just saw the uncropped pic up-thread, Columba standing next to/behind Jeb Crow Shrub. In pics of them standing together she is a full couple of feet shorter than he is.
