"No ISIS Where Russia is Bombing--Except Last Week, When When ISIS Was Killing Gay Men There"

http://fair.org/home/no-isis-where-russia-is-bombing-except-last-week-when-isis-was-killing-gay-men-there/

President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia suddenly escalated the stakes in his contest with the West over influence in the Middle East on Wednesday, as Russian pilots carried out their first airstrikes in Syria….

Russian officials and analysts portrayed the move as an attempt both to fight Islamic State militants and to try to ensure the survival of President Bashar al-Assad of Syria, Russia’s main ally in the Middle East. But Homs is not under the control of the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL. --New York Times (9/30/15)

A Syrian opposition activist network, the Local Co-ordination Committees, said Russian warplanes hit five towns—Zafaraneh, Rastan, Talbiseh, Makarmia and Ghanto—resulting in the deaths of 36 people, including five children. None of the areas targeted were controlled by IS, activists said.—BBC (9/30/15)

The Islamic State jihadist group executed nine men and a boy it accused of being gay in central and northern Syria on Monday, a monitoring group said. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the jihadists shot dead seven men in Rastan, a town in Homs province of central Syria, “after accusing them of being homosexual.”—AFP (9/21/15)

Rastan was where some of the first Russian strikes were.

NYT/WAPO/ABCNBCCBSFOX are not credible, read between the lines only. They can't even reconcile the lies they print with the lies they've been fed by the administration propagandists.

And since it's the media's fault, they will not address it.

I didn't know Russian defense contractors had developed time-traveling munitions.

The grasping at straws is almost as pathetic as when the US "found" the WMDs in Iraq.

Or maybe they were just on vacation?

Or maybe the widely cited Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was making it up?

Actually, it really doesn't make much difference to me which group of Islamist militants they're bombing. "Our guys," the "moderate rebels" seem to switch back and forth with them, as well as fighting in alliance with them in the Army of Conquest along with quys like the local Al Qaeda affiliate, the al Nusra Front, and those nice jihadis of Ahrar Al Sham.

These guys don't represent a secular, democratic Syria; they're the ideological brothers of ISIS, even if they sometimes clash with them over power and prestige.

so all the people screaming, "Russia is not attacking ISIS" can see it. Even if they are not attacking ISIS directly like the west claims, they are still attacking jihadist groups getting in the way of Syrian Arab Army trying to kick out ISIS.

Just watched a lot of the Syriangirl's video and it is truly sad to see the mes the west have made off that country by trying to remove a secular leader by force. Would we ever going to learn the lessons from the mistakes made in Iraq and Libya?
