Conservative club on college campus puts up 'anchor babies' poster, gets smashed, begins crying

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/09/30/1426293/-Conservative-club-on-college-campus-puts-up-anchor-babies-poster-gets-smashed-begins-crying

A brand new Young Americans for Freedom student club put up recruitment posters at Gettysburg College.

CALLING ALL CONSERVATIVES
Do you enjoy hugging babies vs killing them?
Obamacare not for you?
Do you realize socialism doesn't work?
Can you manage your email account better than Hillary Clinton?
Anchor babies.....and you're not afraid to say it #notpc
Is fixing the country more important than your golf game?

BEST PART if you disagree.... come for the debates!

Seem like a fun bunch? Indeed! A Hillary-is-bad-at-email joke for the 18 to 22 year-old set? These guys and gals (let's be serious, it's probably almost entirely guys) are wicked funny! Let me use some college level deconstruction, in the most postmodern fashion possible.

Do you enjoy hugging babies vs killing them?

This is the pro-choice versus anti-abortion thing, amiright? Is hugging the right answer?

Obamacare not for you?
You're at college and covered by your parents' insurance. Go. Fuck. Yourself.

Do you realize socialism doesn't work?
Doubt you even have the foggiest idea what socialism is. But, fair enough.

Can you manage your email account better than Hillary Clinton? [crickets]....ZZzzzzzzz, wait, what?

Anchor babies.....and you're not afraid to say it #notpc
Are you a racist? That's a much more succinct way of saying what you're trying to say. The hashtag notpc thing is just a caveat promising you can say racist things and derogatory remarks and not be made to feel badly for being a racist asshole.

Is fixing the country more important than your golf game?
I believe this is a dig at John Boehner? But it could be a backhanded attack on Greg Norman and his inability to solve world hunger.

As these young conservatives were soon to find out, no good deed goes unpunished and a parody poster came to light.

Calling all Fascists!

Do you believe:
Poor people should be starved or imprisoned?
In ignoring the success of Democratic Socialism in many countries?
In religious freedom for Christians?
The right to an attorney but not a doctor?
Obama is a Muslim?
A police badge is a license to kill?
Babies should be deported instead of fed?
Rove's, Cheney's, and Powell's private servers didn't count?
In only reading books written by Fox News contributors?
Embryos are more important than women?
That all of this will make America GREAT AGAIN?
Support Fascism in your local communities!

Many college students are NOT covered by their parents' health insurance - because colleges often offer BETTER health insurance than their parents have, and cheaply. College students are, by and large, a really healthy group of people, so they're a great pool as far as health insurance goes. I suspect the college-offered insurance plans match or beat most silver level plans on the exchanges, and they're also really cheap. I signed up for college health plans whenever I was taking even part-time classwork into my 40s.

than that "child" having their own plan. The "child" is in the same risk pool you describe as the reason the college plan would be cheaper, so that is already factored into adding the child to the parent's plan.

On my health plan from work, adding an infinite number of children is about 75% the cost of adding one adult.

The right wing is obsessed with Obama playing golf. Because a Democratic President has no right to any personal time to enjoy himself, especially if he is black.

8. And God forbid Obama takes a vacation...

Unlike George Bush Jr. who took more vacation than any other resident of the White House.

On Aug. 8, 2014, Knoller tweeted that Obama had taken 19 vacations totaling 125 days so far while in office. Those numbers have risen a bit due to the Martha’s Vineyard vacation, but that’s still many fewer than George W. Bush’s 65 combined trips to his Texas ranch and his parents’ home in Kennebunkport, Maine, which totaled 407 days at the same point in his presidency.According to the Washington Post it was 879 days by the time he left office.

Ronald Reagan spent 335 days at his beloved California ranch.

Not included in this data are trips to the Camp David presidential retreat in western Maryland, which Knoller doesn’t count as "vacation." Knoller told Yahoo! News that, through Aug. 12, 2014, Obama had made 33 visits to Camp David for all or part of 84 days, while Bush had been there 108 times for all or part of 341 days.

The article does point out that George Bush Jr. did stop playing golf after he made that gaffe, "Now watch this drive!"

....As for which president has played the most rounds of golf, it’s definitely not Obama. For instance, Dwight Eisenhower played almost 800 rounds during his eight-year presidency, according to a study of his daily itinerary cited in Golf Digest -- many times what Obama has played.

And Eisenhower is not even the No. 1 golf-playing president. Woodrow Wilson played nearly 1,200 rounds during his two terms. Wilson "played more rounds of golf than any president in history," said Wilson’s biographer, A. Scott Berg.

"These guys and gals (let's be serious, it's probably almost entirely guys)".

It is not entirely male, the Vice President according to their website is a female named Alissa.

Just sayin'. Cheap shot. There are many rabidly conservative women.

If the last line is referring to all the previous statements, shouldn't the last line say:

Idiots.
