Schoolboy groomed by teaching assistant says he has been left scarred for life
A schoolboy groomed over Facebook by a teaching assistant has claimed they had sex up to 50 times and he has been left ‘scarred for life’.
Last week the MEN exclusively revealed how teaching assistant Caroline Berriman had avoided jail after coming clean about the relationship with the teenage boy at Abraham Moss Community School in Crumpsall last year.
Berriman, 30, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child - and a further charge of sexual activity with a child by a person in a position of trust.
The disgraced teaching assistant, of Manor Close in Chadderton, Oldham, was handed a two-year sentence, suspended for two years at Minshull Street Crown Court, having pleaded guilty to all three charges at an earlier hearing.

MEN need to start speaking up for victim's rights, women (at least on this board) have always found actions like these to be deplorable. How many times have we seen male DU members snicker and scoff at the idea that a teenage boy could be raped by an older woman? How many times have we seen said DUers claim that they would have loved to be in that position at that age?
I agree with you, unbelievable. Things need to change.
