Because I'm looking at this long list of 27 worst mass shootings in the US and a cursory reading reveals that most of these killers were not felons before they committed their mass murders. But you've assured us that law abiding gun owners are not the problem. Of course, they're only law-abiding, responsible gun owners until they murder a bunch of people - then they're criminals. So, you're absolutely correct, Professor, criminals are the real problem, not law abiding gun owners who haven't committed a massacre yet.

Mass murders with guns make up a very small percentage of total murders with guns. Of course The Controllers just love the political mileage they think they get out of these tragedies -- as does the media.

A "gun nut" is someone obsessed with owning as many guns as possible, and carrying them absolutely everywhere he/she goes, because they're too paranoid and/or scared to do otherwise. A hair-trigger temper, and vicarious murder fantasies, are other common traits.

What are you doing for you "cause" besides slinging insults which give aid and comfort to the GOP by reminding citizens how nasty and dishonest The Controllers are?
