Mc Cain was just on Colbert and pretty much said that Iraq was stable until we left. He accused Obama of lack of leadership. Believes we should have couple of thousand troops in the Middle East mess. Said American troops have been in Korea since the 1950's but claimed American troops in ME would be short term.

McCain and some of his buddies are always humping for an unlimited military budget.

(16,844 posts)Stephen was very nice to McCain from the start, and McCain was just a dick to Stephen. Stephen used a funny illustration about going to visit McCain at his house for a barbecue, and McCain would yell out, "your kid's ugly," when you walk in the door. He basically told McCain that he was being a rude guest in Stephen's house, but he did it in such a way that McCain really couldn't say any more. Stephen's a real pro, and he handled that situation perfectly and with ease.
