If they cannot change a law or the constitution, they figure out a way to make life difficult for minorities and women anyway.

3. FOIA not necessary. Parents always have the right to their children's records.

Problem is, Texas is reprising the voter id bs and saying that IDs issued by the Mexican consulates are not adequate proof of who the person is so they will not release the birth certificate. There is a lawsuit on behalf of the parents which Texas most surely will lose, thus pissing away some more taxpayer money on their little racist agendas.
