Paul Ryan, Really??????

What kind of shape is the republican party in, if Paul Ryan is only congress person that they could have as a leader? Wasn't he the laughing stock of the 2012 VP debate and wasn't he against the President back then and isn't that same now days? Really, what changed and is this what they want? I guess with the all the choices out there, he is the violable choice? Scary thought! The republican have a huge problem on their hands and it won't be no easy task to fix it. I keep hearing a fill-in speaker will probably be the way they will go? What does that fix? Nothing! All this will do is make it harder for the President, Congress and Senate do get things done. And if they think Ryan is the person to compromise with Pres. Obama? Wrong! Ryan is a hard right Tea party supporter who says the President would never get any votes from him on anything? The country has some big problems ahead, if the republicans don't get their house in order? I would hate to see the mess they leave for the next president.

is that it will probably be a career killer to whoever takes the job. It could possibly be the last time we hear from the asshole, barring the obligatory job at Faux Noise.

Ryan knows it, too. That's why he doesn't want the job. Whoever sits in that chair for the next year will be the most hated man in Washington, and his legacy will be government shutdowns and ineffectiveness.

Hell, I don't think the Tea Party fanatics like him much either. He 'compromises' too much.

Gay rights and abortion aren't working so good anymore as shiny things to keep us all occupied... and they are quickly losing the media on guns.

So we've got this supposed Republican disintegration they can blame for lack of effective policing of the economic predators. Yeah well, the "great recession" might be yesterday's news.... the monkey's off our back. That don't mean the circus left town......

The Tea Party hardliners have been trashing him for years, he's a rhino in their eyes. He will never be able to placate the rabid conservatives who have taken control of the House. Republicans are mired in a chaos of their own making because nobody is going to be "pure" enough for these idiots.

Nobody can be elected and nobody wants the thankless job of cat herder or zombie leader. The irony here is Boehner will be forced to stay on as Speaker, and he maybe he's had enough of these clowns and he will work with Pelosi and the Dems to pass the debt limit and the other big bills to close out his speakership by giving his backstabbing Republican caucus the bird.
