Let Me Get This Straight. Jim Webb Won The Navy Cross By Attacking Three NVA Bunkers In Vietnam...

...only to be scared off by three liberals back home?

His Presidential aspirations were ended by:

Anderson Cooper not giving him enough time during the Debate
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz not giving him enough attention in the Primaries, and
Alec Baldwin making fun of him on Saturday Night live?

His gaffe about Affirmative Action applying only to African Americans was also fatal nt Xipe Totec Oct 2015 #1
Well, unfortunately that wasn't a "gaffe." (Unless the gaffe was to say what he really thinks.) TrollBuster9090 Oct 2015 #2
He's a politician. He's not supposed to say what he really thinks Xipe Totec Oct 2015 #3

of the outcome, but especially if Hillary is the nominee. Webb will not be the only one who has to think about calling himself a Democrat in the future.

Again, DWS is no liberal. For one thing, liberals don't endorse Republicans in elections just because they go to the same politician parties or whatever the heck DWS's reasons were for endorsing Republicans. Also, given a choice between being a member of the Progressive Caucus, or being a member of the New Democrat Coalition or not being affiliated with either of those, DWS chose to be a member of the New Democrat Coalition.

That said, Webb is bsing. When the Democratic Party was a lot closer to its New Deal roots than it is now, he chose to be a Republican and remained one until he got an opportunity to unseat Allen.

Yes, Webb can be wrong about some things and right about others, just like every other human being. Imagine that.

At times he sounds real and grounded but when it comes to his vote you can't count on it!

GWB and Iraq/Afghanistan turned him to the Dems. He was Naval Secretary, or something like that under Regan. He was the dem who gave the Dems the Senate by beating George "Macaca" Allen.

He was awarded The Navy Cross for his actions.

Dakota Meyer didn't "win" the MOH either.
He received it for gallantry in battle, like Sen. Webb did to earn his Navy Cross.

You are absolutely correct, you don't "win" medals in the military, they are earned and awarded.
