Congress works 137 days a year---Yo Paul---looks like you have plenty of family time.

The House of Representatives has averaged 137 "legislative days" a year since 2001, according to records kept by the Library of Congress. That's about one day of work every three days, or fewer than three days a week.

And Ryan doesn't want to, or wants to look like he doesn't want to.

Or he just knows he has the caucus over a barrel and is perfectly happy to dodge the most onerous part of the job.
