As I predicted Biden will not run. Now, remember my 2nd prediction re Trump.

My earlier post:

Biden is NOT going to run, imo.

I also think that Trump on SNL means he will be dropping out, too. Both Gore and McCain hosted SNL knowing they were NOT going to run again.

I think corporate media tends to be WAY wrong about most things, and sometimes DU follows them blindly.

Of course, I could be wrong, but, I doubt it in this case.

that will preserve his enormous ego before he can drop out. He'll stay in for as long as the media keep kissing his ass and his poll numbers stay high. Right now he has no reason to quit.

voting tend to throw cold water on 'hot' alternative candidates. He knows there is a shelf life to his act, and his ego won't allow it to happen when he begins to slip in any pronounced way. He will do it so it APPEARS to be on his terms, and his terms alone. Utter BS, but, imagery is all that matters.

and participated in the skit where he mocked Hispanic variety shows with a Chihuahua and everybody doing koochi-koochi and saying, "Dios Mio!1", as one of the biggest indignities he had to undergo for the sake of campaigning?

Now, nobody jump on my case, I wouldn't be here at DU if it weren't a TOTAL supporter back then and for years after the Selection, but in the years since I have realized how he foisted LIEBERMAN on us, always thought he didn't fight the Selection well or hard enough, and that he ran as a lousy candidate, not to mention what was up with the Current and the cash deal for himself.

He's leading and demolishing Bush's lie about W keeping us safe. That's upping his poll numbers and giving more octane to his campaign.

And he's actually telling the truth this time.

Should he get the repug nomination he'll still lose though to whoever the Dem nominee is.
