By Tyler Kingkade, October 21, 2015
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said Wednesday he would use the U.S. Department of Education to police speech on college campuses.
During an interview, Glenn Beck asked Carson if he would shut down the Education Department as president.
"I actually have something I would use the Department of Education to do," Carson responded. "It would be to monitor our institutions of higher education for extreme political bias and deny federal funding if it exists."

And the rest of us unfairly criticizing those who constantly tell themselves they are victims reverse discrimination. Not accepting the expertise of the anti-Darwin students professing their Bible-based science theory. Making poor rightwing students learn history beyond what the Texas textbooks approve as worthy of study. No Caucasian Studies degrees. Having to take classes on other cultures or different economic systems. Forced to examine multicultural perspectives. No classes studying the genius of Ayn Rand. Too many words in books. Too many notes in music. No prayers before class starts. Vegan food in the cafeteria. Yoga classes to satisfy PE requirements. WHat??? And don't get me started on all those rightwingers denied jobs as academics by biased hiring committees who automatically root out candidates with conservative views by requiring job candidates to take a liberal loyalty oath in order to be hired. "Readin', ritin' and 'rithmatic taught to the tune of a hickory stick..."
