Her first race engendered a lot of very bad feelings since Rahm hand selected Tammy instead of the local progressive favorite Christine Cegelis. Then when she lost (a near certainty anyway since this was the reddest of red districts, Henry Hydes old seat), there was a lot of even harder feelings.

But I'll admit, i liked her from the start!

She's a tremendous Dem asset
